Information Security Manager | Permanent role | Melbourne

This role sits within a government organization with a head office in Melbourne. You will work with one of the leading independent Victorian Government agencies with an excellent reputation in a highly productive team.

**Your new role**

This role is predominately focused on information security, governance and compliance management. The purpose of the role is to manage cyber threats, issues, risk and the management of cybersecurity frameworks. Also support in creation and enhancement of cybersecurity policies, standards, guidelines, and processes. You will be responsible in managing the performance of the team reporting to you and have exposure on managing internal and external stakeholders.

**What you'll need to succeed**

We are looking for someone who has:

- Hands-on experience in managing the VPDSS compliance
- Demonstrated experience in risk assessments
- Hands-on experience on NIST, ISM, ASD, ISO2700x
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Strong understanding on data security and privacy laws
