About the Role

You will play a vital part in providing quality clinical care to patients as an integral member of an experienced multidisciplinary health care team. Your day will involve delivery of medical services, aviation medicals, sick parade consultations, general practitioner consultations, health screenings, preventative health care, diving, submarine and other occupational medical and health assessments to determine employability and deployability of personnel, pre and post deployment health assessments.

You will enjoy working closely with our nursing, allied health and administration teams and can expect to feel a unique sense of accomplishment and pride from caring for those who serve and protect our country.

Alongside your engaging manner, you have a positive work attitude, outstanding communication skills and a strong people focus, enabling you to engage effectively with patients and team members alike.

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:
Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Medical Practitioner, General in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) OR, Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) OR Vocational Registration. Minimum of 2 years full-time post graduate general practitioner experience in a general practice setting within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent) as determined by RACGP and ACRRM. Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.

This is a position of trust and responsibility and to support this we will conduct a thorough probity assessment, which includes a national police check as an essential selection component for this role.

About Kuttabul Health Centre
Kuttabul Health Centre is located on HMAS Kuttabul in Potts Point, and provides outpatient medical, specialist and ancillary services including physiotherapy and pharmacy to the ADF population. This mid-size health centre services up to 4,500 members and provides services for overseas visiting personnel. Its standard operating hours are 0730-1530 Monday-Friday.
