12-month contract opportunity available for an Urban Designer working in State Government.

**Your new company**

This State Government Agency based in Sydney CBD work on a range of large-scale Infrastructure projects within NSW to support wider community growth requirements. They are now looking to bring on an Urban Designer to assist with new project requirements on an initial 12-month basis.

**Your new role**

You will work to prepare masterplans alongside the wider design team and provide feedback and advice on proposed project conditions.

Additional Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Ensuring that the preparation of master plans is in accordance with the principles and planning guidelines of DfMA.
- Assist in the development of urban design, place-making and various planning policies, frameworks and advice notes to support government policies and enhance community learning environments.
- Work collaboratively across business areas within the department and government agencies developing integrated urban design processes and systems.
- Provide both strategic and technical advice and guidance across a range of infrastructure design issues during project development and delivery.
- Direct and manage design service levels and outputs to ensure that they progress on time and within budget, while meeting the expectation of stakeholders.

**Note**: You must have experience using AutoCAD/ Revit systems, as well as the Adobe Creative Suite (in-particular Illustrator and InDesign).

**What you'll get in return**

You will receive a highly competitive rate of $635 per day + Super as well as a 12-month full time contract working on a prestigious State government project.
