**About the role**:
The Cyber and Resiliency Operations Advisor will be responsible for supporting the implementation and configuration of controls to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Unitywater technology and information assets. The role will work closely with third party vendors to support the implementation, configuration and optimisation of technology solutions and controls for security, resiliency, and data integrations. Additionally, you will:

- Support the incident response and SecOps team in initial detection, analysis, and investigation of security events to determine likelihood of compromise and respond and report according to processes.
- Provide support in maintaining, operating, and monitoring the technology environments through the implementation and management of relevant security tools to enable effective detection and response capabilities of IT and OT systems
- Operation and improvement of Unitywater’s vulnerability management practices, including maximising value from technology solutions, and working with teams to ensure vulnerabilities are remediated in a timely manner.
- Support the management of version controls and security patch updates to comply with policy and standards.
- Support the identification and remediation of security, data and resiliency risks.
- Support in providing training and guidance to employees, partners and vendors on security best practices, and how to identify and respond to security threats.

- Experience in Security Operations, cyber security incident management, reporting requirements and presentation of operational recommendations.
- Technical skills and active experience in scripting, supporting Microsoft Windows Servers, some Linux, MS SQL Server, VMware, LAN, WAN, Cloud native and third party Firewalls, Antivirus, Backup systems, Mail gateways, Microsoft Azure (desirable), Microsoft Sentinel or other SIEM, Integration Management platforms, and Identity and access management platforms
- Demonstrated understanding of cloud based multi-sourced and outsourced services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and a range of ICT architectures.
- High level of analytical, negotiation, communication, listening and facilitation skills with the ability to be hands on in every aspect of the position.
