Hospitality Assistant

**Eldercare Sash Ferguson at Mount Barker is seeking dedicated Hospitality Assistants.**

As a Hospitality Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work across all areas of our kitchen, cleaning and laundry departments. Such variety means you will have the opportunity to develop new skills and become trained in multiple areas.

**About the role**
- Located at our Mt Barker site
- Permanent part time & casual opportunities available
- Applicants for permanent part time positions must be available for minimum 5 shifts per fortnight
- All applicants must be willing to work morning shifts (07:00 - 14:30) and afternoon shifts (14:30 - 19:30)
- Experience in hospitality/catering/food service/aged care preferred

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Good communication skills
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Knowledge of contemporary housekeeping/cleaning practices
- Professional presentation
- Flexibility with shifts (to cover team mates when they are sick or on leave)
- A current Food Handling Certificate is desirable
- Previous work in Aged Care or healthcare would be looked upon favorably
