The role of Principal Advisor (Finance) has key responsibilities in the management and critical analysis of the financial performance and governance of the Digital Licence Program.

**Accountabilities include but are not limited to**:

- Develop and maintain productive working relationships and partnerships across a range of stakeholder groups.
- Provide support and advice to the leadership team through a high-level understanding of business requirements and proactive provision of financial services to support business priorities.
- Proactively develop and manage delivery of financial planning, budgeting, financial management and financial system solutions in support of the business.
- Assist the Director (Business Transformation) in leading the provision of high-level financial expertise and services.

**To be considered suitable for the role you will have**:

- Lead the continual improvement in financial management practices and procedures employed across the business area, including proactive communication and training to ensure strong governance and accountability.
- Manage the provision of information and submissions to the Department of Transport and Main Roads' Finance Branch, Queensland Treasury and the Cabinet Budget Review Committee throughout the annual budget cycle, including preparation of new initiative submissions, state budget papers, monthly, quarterly and end of year reporting.
- Assist the director to coach and monitor the performance of the team and assist with service delivery to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the unit.
