As a **Stewarding** **team member**, you will be responsible for the cleanliness of our back of house areas including the many kitchens, bars and restaurants. This position is a physically demanding role with tight time constraints and a high level of attention to detail but very rewarding with a great sense of accomplishment at the end of the day This is a fantastic opportunity where you will ensure the highest levels of health and hygiene are maintained at The Star Gold Coast. **A few of your responsibilities**: - Working closely with our culinary team to ensure all restaurant equipment is cleaned, organized, and restocked, so everything is set for a seamless service - Ensure cleaning checklists completed and hygiene standards are maintained - Maintain overall cleanliness and organisation of Food and Beverage venues - Safely handle and store chemicals and equipment in accordance with Workplace Health and Safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment **What are we looking for**: - Previous experience in kitchen cleaning or heavy manual labour (highly desired) - Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods (desired but not essential) - Flexible availability across a 7-day roster - Good communication skills, with a positive and professional attitude - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team **About you**: With your exceptional attention to detail and friendly disposition, you will take pride in contributing to our world class experience for our guests.
