White’s IGA is an innovative, market leading, independently owned and operated supermarket group seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Grocery Manager to join their dynamic team.

This highly regarded position will be responsible for the day to day running of an outstanding department. This position will report directly to the Store Manager. Major duties and responsibilities of the Grocery Manager include:

- Strong ability to lead, coach and develop a team
- Strong customer service skills and passion to provide an exceptional shopping experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to promote and build a strong team environment
- Excellent presentation, merchandising and stock management skills
- Ability to mentor and inspire employees to meet sales, cost budgets and compliance standards
- Friendly, approachable and positive team player
- Embrace White’s IGA unique ‘locavore’ culture and actively engage in the community
- Ability to regularly lift up to 20kgs is an essential requirement
- Previous Grocery experience is essential

We offer a competitive remuneration package and benefits based on your level of experience. Applicants may be required to work a variety of shifts over a 7-day period including afternoons.
