The Clinical Manager role is a unique opportunity for a committed professional to manage an innovative clinical treatment service. The position is responsible for the delivery of a holistic range of interventions based on the needs of the service users residing at Ripley Young Adult Unit (Ripley). This includes offence-specific and offence-related group and individual based interventions.

**What you will do**

As the clinical manager of the new young adult unit, maintain the therapeutic culture at Ripley, including staff culture and behaviours and provide advice to other staff, to support a multidisciplinary case management approach which integrates a clinical understanding of risk and needs with case management of the service users at Ripley.

You will also:

- Develop and implement **individualised treatment plans** for residents, considering their specific needs and risks.
- Work with other staff to ensure a **coordinated approach** to resident care.
- Track the team's performance and look for ways to **improve services**.
- Advise on **clinical matters** and contribute to policy development.

**Eligibility**
- Registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA); or
- Membership of the Australian Association of Social Work; or
- A master's degree in psychotherapy and eligible for registration with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA); or
- A master's degree in counselling and eligible for membership with Australian Counselling Association (ACA) or Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA); or
- Credentialed as a Mental Health Nurse with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses; or
- Registered as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
- AHPRA approved supervisor, or equivalent; or
- A minimum of 2 years of being a practicing supervisor.
- Specialist training and/or postgraduate qualifications in a clinical or forensic field is desirable.
- A current Victorian driver's licence is required.
