Operating as part of the Technical Services team, you will lead one of the Civil Maintenance crews. Duties will include providing trade guidance and assistance, operating machinery to perform general maintenance tasks, directing the team on site as per maintenance plans/requests, ensuring all works are performed to a high standard and ensuring team members and contractors are operating within Work Health and Safety guidelines. You will have good administration skills, including the use of computer technology, and the ability to communicate and liaise effectively with consultants, contractors and stakeholders as required.

Competencies in additional plant, such as concrete grinder, crane (CN), backhoe and skid steer operation, and experience leading a team is advantageous.
- Sound leadership skills, including problem solving skills and the ability to work without supervision
- Sound written and verbal communication skills, including knowledge of basic computer skills
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures
- Knowledge of the construction and maintenance of any of the following: concrete, brick paving, storm water drainage systems and road pavements
- Current ‘HR’ class driver’s licence
- Construction Induction Training (White Card)

This position offers a **weekly wage of $1,360 (gross)** incorporating all allowances and penalty rates.
