**The Opportunity**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our casual pool and support departments across the hospital.

In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring patient comfort, safety, and the smooth running of hospital operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a **Certificate III in Aged Care or Health Services**who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist clinical staff in providing high-quality care and patient support.
- Provide transport services using hospital-approved equipment and vehicles.
- Assist patients on admission and help them settle comfortably.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms and shared areas in line with infection control standards.

**About You**
You thrive in a busy hospital setting, are able to adapt quickly to changing demands, and consistently uphold high standards of service and professionalism.

**To be successful, you will have**:

- **Certificate III in Aged Care**, Health Services, or Care Support (desirable).
- Experience working in a clinical hospital setting.
- Strong understanding of infection control, manual handling, and hospital safety procedures.
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.

**Desirable qualifications and experience**:

- Currently studying Nursing (Year 2 or 3).
- Certificate IV in Health Services Assistance.
