**The role**
- Assess, identify, recommend, and implement changes to the returns process, consulting with relevant stakeholders, and ensuring company deliverables continue to be met throughout
- Ensure continuous improvement of the returns process as the business continues to grow and evolve
- Develop and implement a quality assurance process, ensuring any issues identified are reported and managed appropriately
- Work with internal stakeholders to identify and manage product fault trends.
- Actively participate in the product development process to maintain a level of quality throughout the product range
- Implement FQC process across all suppliers and monitor reports
- Manage the spare parts process and ensure stock levels are set at the correct amount
- Implement a recycling strategy for returned products that need to be disposes
- Implement a barcode system that can be used for scanning products via WMS
- Conduct initial quality checks on new products before being dispatched to stores.
- Safely conduct an assessment of returned products and determine whether products can be safely returned to circulation or if parts should be harvested for sale.
- Train staff on the returns process, ensuring all stakeholders have a clear understanding of the process and associated delegations.
- Effectively manage all Parts team operations, minimising any backlog and enabling claims to be assessed within required timeframes
- Ensure continued reporting to relevant stakeholders on any product issues resulting from the returned parts/products.
- Ensure the implementation of WHS policies and directives to protect staff health and safety in the workplace
- Effectively manage stock integrity at your site by ensuring stock counts are up to date and all stripped and sellable parts have been accurately entered into the system and stored accordingly
- Carry out / review risk assessments, monitor work practices and methods throughout toolbox talks, safety, and housekeeping inspections etc. in order to ensure safety is followed at all times.
- Minimise the claims return percentage against sales
- Manage all quarantine actions in a timely manner
