The Kings Group is an Australian private and family owned company, specialising in same day metropolitan transport, contract logistics and warehousing. We seek highly motivated people who strive to exceed expectations and take pride in their work. Our business is in a growth trajectory, and we are currently on the lookout for an Operations Coordinator to become an important part of our growing team.
The role:
The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for providing operational and administrative support to the Operational Team.
Your day to day will include:
- Demonstrating 100% commitment to and proactively managing safety
- Supervise and provide guidance and support to drivers as required
- Allocation of jobs to drivers and coordinating their deliveries
- Complete job pricing
- Induct drivers, issue relevant training and meet compliance requirements
- Conducting driver checks and audits where requested
- Submit reports to both Kings and customer management as requested
Ideally, you possess:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with the Google Suite is beneficial
- High attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong problem solving skills and analytical skills
- Transport and logistics experience preferred but not essential
