**Department Overview**: Commercial Team - ANZ
**We are looking for a self-motivated and driven professional to join our Commercial Team as a Commercial Manager.
The Commercial Manager will play a vital role in overseeing and supporting a range of managed services and support contracts, with a principal focus on Motorola’s long-term, managed services contract for the South Australian Government Radio Network (SAGRN).
This includes overseeing and managing contractual commitments, navigating demanding service level agreements (SLAs), and helping to drive the successful execution of a robust pipeline of incremental business.
This role requires a strong understanding of contract management, customer/vendor management and negotiation, financial analysis, and strategic planning. The Commercial Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure effective contract
performance, mitigate risks, and drive financial success.
Your strategic mindset, sharp problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail will be instrumental in navigating the complexities inherent to managed services, while your passion for excellence will be the catalyst for driving customer satisfaction and exceeding expectations.

**Basic Requirements**:
**Understand and effectively communicate our contractual obligations**:
Identify and summarise key contract obligations and communicate to relevant internal stakeholders
Monitor and communicate key milestones, identify and resolve potential issues in respect of the contract
Develop Contract Management Plans / Summaries and own their maintenance
throughout the contract lifecycle
**Provide ongoing contract and commercial advice**:
Review, recommend and/or prepare briefing information as required on complex contract and/or commercial issues, proposals or disputes
Contribute to development of commercial risk mitigation strategies and tactics
Assist in the identification and analysis of key risks to contract implementation
Assist and support in the resolution of contract or commercial disputes with the
Customer
**Support business growth by playing a leading role in the contract variation / change order / renewals process**:
Drafting, collating, briefing, reviewing and approving supporting documentation
Identifying, analysing and controlling commercial and contract risks and devising appropriate mitigations for resolution
Supporting and challenging cost and pricing build-up
Leading contract negotiations with customers and partners, through to agreement and signature
Managing the internal approvals process in accordance with governance guidelines for sales contracts.
**Actively manage a range of vendors**:
Building and maintaining positive relationships with vendors. This includes regular communication, resolving conflicts or disputes, and fostering collaboration to achieve mutual goals
Monitoring and reporting on vendor compliance with contractual terms and legal requirements and addressing any performance issues
Identifying and mitigating risks associated with vendor relationships
**Build strong and enduring professional relationships with customers**:
Understand the customer’s business, direction and value drivers and use this
knowledge to motivate and influence internal stakeholders
Be an effective point of escalation for customers and stakeholders, to manage and resolve commercial and contractual issues
Positively influence customer satisfaction
