**Roster Plan**:
**Dayshift**:Monday - Friday/: 6:00am shift commencement, 2:30pm shift finish time (excluding authorised overtime)

**Afternoon shift**:Monday - Thursday: 1:30pm shift commencement, 10:30pm shift finish time (excluding authorised overtime). Friday: 1:30pm shift commencement, 7:30pm shift finish time (excluding authorised overtime)

**Electrical Fitter - Traction Motors**
- Disassemble, inspect, requalify, assemble of HME/Locomotive components (wheel motors, alternators, traction motors, cartridges, blower, radiator fans)
- Measure and inspect critical journals/bores
- Brazing and insulating cable and winding joints
- Requalification inspections of bearings and pinions
- Acceptance no-load testing components, including vibration analysis
- Ensure active involvement in Lean practices
- A strong commitment to maintaining a safety environment
- Engagement and commitment to UGL OneHSE culture
- Extensive in-house training provided
- Relevant Trade Qualification as Electrical Fitter; Electrical Machine Repair or equivalent
- Experience in the overhaul of AC and DC traction motors.
- Experience in overhaul of alternators and / or rotating electrical equipment.
- Sound Electrical and Mechanical experience required
- Experience in similar roles working on GE or EMD motor and associated equipment is highly regarded
- High level of measuring skills and eye for detail and quality standards

- Morning shift

**Experience**:

- Electrical Fitter; Electrical Machine Repair or equivalent: 1 year (preferred)
- in the overhaul of AC and DC traction motors.: 1 year (preferred)
