**About the Role**:
An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Clinical Services Manager within the Child Protection Service.

Reporting to the Director, Child Protection Services (AHP5).

Provide professional leadership for the Allied Health staff within the Child Protection Service.

Provide operational leadership for the hospital based and ambulatory Child Protection Services.

Responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of strategies to meet the health needs of the NALHN’s population consistent with the SA Health Care Plan.

Contribute to NALHN’s achievement of its strategic and operational objectives, performance agreements, targets and key performance indicators and support core principles of consumer participation, clinical effectiveness, workplace innovation and management of risk.

Accountable for:

- Management and coordination and delivery of clinical practice, clinical supervision and education and training.
- Facilitation, development, and coordination of resources both within and external to CPS to support a high-quality clinical practice and a client centred care service.
- Provision of high-level professional expert advice and information to the Director in relation to policy or system changes/enhancement and to CPS staff in relation to research, teaching and other issues relevant to CPS/NALHN objectives.
- Contribute as a member of the management group to strategic planning processes and takes a lead role in the development and implementation of organisational policies and procedures.
- The development, provision, and management of a quality, cost efficient and integrated Child Protection Service.
- Undertake the management of complex projects involving several personnel from the Child Protection Service and/or the child protection system.
- Contributing to the financial and workforce management of the Child Protection Service.
- Contributing to the delivery and management of efficient work practices and culture of continued quality improvement.
- Evaluating service effectiveness through monitoring, analysing and evaluating current systems and consulting with the Director, management team and broader clinical and administrative CPS staff team about recommendations for system modification or change.
