**Your new role**

In your new role as **Analyst, Compliance and Operational Oversight**, you will work as part of the broader Investment Services team, where you will be responsible for providing operational support with daily, weekly and monthly deliverables for the compliance team. This opportunity will allow you to contribute to new and emerging projects within the ever-changing regulatory landscape.

Working as part of the Investment Services team, your duties will include, but are not limited to;
- Reconciliation of OTC derivative trades and implementing changes to existing operating processes due to regulatory changes, where required
- Review custodian reports and reconcile with internal workings to provide timely escalation for review and resolution of exceptions
- Perform review of investment manager internal control reports, reconcile manager incident reporting and provide timely assistance in reconciling trade data for class action submissions
- Contribute to improving existing processes to mitigate operational risk by implementing ongoing review of checklists, controls and processes
- Review procedure and other documents per policy and update to reflect changing business practices on ongoing basis
- Contribute effectively to ongoing projects and tasks assigned

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**What you’ll need to excel**
- Degree from a recognised tertiary institution in Finance, Accounting or Commerce or similar
- 1-3 years’ experience in investment management compliance or in financial services industry highly regarded
- High level of attention to detail and analysis skills
- Proficiency in Excel
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Willingness to learn and ability to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to build rapport with stakeholders
