**Receptionist / Secretary - Neurophysiology**

- The Department of Clinical Neurophysiology is a subdivision of the Department of Neurology. The staff consist of Neurologists, Neurology Fellows, Clinical Neurophysiology Scientists and students/trainees. We conduct Neurophysiological testing for both in-patients and out-patients which includes electroencephalography, nerve conduction studies and needle electromyography, evoked potential studies and prolonged epilepsy monitoring.
**Your new role**:
- Start the day with a smile to greet all Neurophysiology patients attending clinics
- Attending to patient bookings, answer all incoming calls, tending to all patient queries
- Liaise daily with consultants, fellows, junior doctors and scientists to ensure the smooth running of the Neurophysiology department
- conduct a wide variety of reception and secretarial duties
**About you**:
- Excellent oral and written interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience and knowledge of medical reception
- A patient focussed approach to service provision
- Ability to work well in a team environment, in addition to working autonomously
- Maintain absolute confidentiality with patient and departmental matters
