**About Us**

The Youngster.co program brings young people and seniors together to provide personalised tech help, including how to use their phone, do video calls, connect on social media, etc.

**Location**

This role is for our youngster home visit tech learning program in Ipswich, QLD. We currently have an NDIS client who would like help learning how to set up their technology and better use it. They would like min 1 session/ week for approximately 4 moths +.

**The Role**

We are looking for people aged 18 and over who are friendly, patient, and competent with everyday technology to assist seniors with basic tech skills in their homes.

It's ideal for people with IT support desk experience, or IT students with customer service skills.

You will be helping an older man learn to use their phones and computers. Experience in this would be great but a friendly patient person qualifies too.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Travel to learner's homes and teach them to use their tech.
- Assist learner with tech-related queries and issues, such as smartphone, tablet, or computer troubleshooting.
- Foster a friendly, respectful, and supportive learning environment.
- Promote Youngster.co's values and mission within the community.
- Contribute ideas and feedback to continually improve our sessions and outreach.

We don’t require you to have any specific qualifications or previous work experience. What we look for is:

- Passion for technology and willingness to share knowledge.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to travel ~20 mins to homes in your area.
- Ability to work with diverse age groups and backgrounds.
- Commitment to Youngster.co's mission and values.
- Youngsters need to be a minimum of 18 years old and have a valid a National Police Check.
