The Learning and Development team aims to grow the capability of our workforce to meet current and future business needs through collaboration with our customers and by providing customised learning pathways and solutions supported by the Department’s learning and performance system.

As the Manager or Principal Consultant, you will provide strategic direction for our department’s learning and development needs at organisational, team, and individual levels. You will design and implement training programs to address skills shortages, enhance leadership capabilities, and support career development. Collaborating with leaders and stakeholders, you will ensure our learning initiatives are aligned with business needs and drive organisational success.

**About You**

Organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities with a results-oriented focus will be important, transitioning between the hands on and strategic parts of the role - with no two days alike.

The Department offers a wide variety of learning and development offerings and is located in a brand-new building with great work and leisure facilities available.

**Qualifications/Experience**
Organisational psychology, human resources or other relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent experience will be highly regarded.

**Special Conditions**

Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.

**Tenure of Vacancy**
Temporary appointment up to 12 months

ASO8 - $121,107 - $125,659 per annum
ASO7 - $108,109 - $116,864 per annum
