**The Opportunity**:
We have an exciting opportunity a Group Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our team in Melbourne.

The role focuses on the planning, co-ordination and consolidation for the AMA Group budgeting and forecasting processes, including provision of reporting and analysis across periods and assisting the Group Financial Controller and Group Chief Financial Officer with financial reporting. The role also serves as a finance business partner for the Corporate entity (support functions), which following centralisation of a number of functions now includes approximately 70 staff and over $30 million annual spend.

**Role responsibilities**:

- Running the annual budget process, including co-ordination of timetable, consolidation and review of inputs, analysis of outputs and preparing reporting of the budget for Board approval.
- Co-ordination of the forecast process (two main forecast periods, rolling forecasts for remainder of year), including consolidation, reporting and analysis
- Setting of key assumptions for budgets and forecasts and running sensitivities on changes to assumptions as required
- Completion of the Corporate budget with relevant stakeholders.
- Analysis of corporate monthly results and forecasts and provision of functional information to Corporate EGMs
- Assisting the Corporate Finance Manager with long term planning and inputs to the strategic plan, including bridging strategic plan to year 1 budget
- Ad hoc tasks and projects as required by the Group CFO and Group Financial Controller.

- Finance related degree and CA/CPA qualified
- Experience in a commercial organisation
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel
- Broad understanding of business processes and key drivers
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to partner across the business at all levels
- Strong analytical skills and variance analysis
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and a proactive approach to meeting timelines
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
