About the Role?

As the Financial Planning & Analytics Manager, you will manage and lead the APAC Region for all aspects of financial planning, forecasting, analysis and reporting. This senior leadership role provides analytical and commercial support to drive informed financial decision-making processes. You will also oversee the Treasury function including cash flow reporting and Treasury related compliance.

Reporting into the Finance Director, in this role you will;

• Oversee all aspects of Financial Planning and Analysis function for APAC ( Asia-Pacific ) Region including forecasting, business plan, and long-term strategic plan.
• Responsible and accountable for the Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statement by Brand for reporting of actuals, budget and forecast models.
• Regular Liaison with Executive and Senior Management team and support to Finance Director to develop focussed strategy and direction across the APAC business.
• Regular review of business processes to identify opportunities for process improvements and profitability improvements.
• Responsible for the reporting to the Executive Management Team on Financial results, KPI tracking and trend analysis.
• Assist the Finance Director with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and associated schedules for Hertz Corporation and Hertz International.
• Responsible for all Treasury related compliance and cash flow planning
• Responsible for all external funding facilities (Banking and Financing) and intercompany loan management.
• Manage a team of three Financial Analysts and a Treasury Accountant, fostering collaboration and continuous development.
• Work with the Finance Director by supporting the information requests and communications for both Hertz internal and Hertz international stakeholders.

About You?

To be successful in this position, our newest team member will have the following:

• Extensive experience of a minimum of 5 years in an analytical position, preferably in a global company or part of a larger group.
• Proven track record in working to tight deadlines, analysing and amalgamating large and complex streams of data
• Proven leadership capability in managing a team
• Specialist degree qualified in Accounting and post graduate qualifications with either CA or CPA
• Demonstrated success in engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal)
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Expert problem-solving and analytical skills
