Nunkuwarrin Yunti, the foremost Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation in Adelaide aims to promote and deliver improvement in the health and wellbeing of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their families in the greater metropolitan areas of Adelaide and regional areas to advance their social, cultural and economic status. Nunkuwarrin Yunti is a Child Safe Organisation.

This role and responsibilities of the Policy, Document and CQI Officer, working under limited direction will include:

- **Organisation document development**: Work together with document owners within the organisation in systematically researching, reviewing and developing documents such as Policies, Manuals, procedures, guidelines and forms. Keep track on all organisation documents review date via an automated system and start review process
- **Stakeholder engagement**: Participate in stakeholder meetings and forums, assisting in gathering feedback and fostering meaningful relationships.
- **Documentation and reporting**: Help prepare reports, briefing documents and presentations
- **Project support**: Provide assistance to policy-related projects, ensuring tasks are completed effectively and align with Nunkuwarrin Yunti objectives
- **Knowledge sharing**: Contribute to the QSR and Organisational succuss by sharing insights and learnings
- **Record Management**: in the area of as administrator of an Electronic Document Records Management system (EDRMS) including systems settings and security
- **Demonstrated experience**: in the coordination and processing of Right to Information and information privacy requests
- **Demonstrated Knowledge**: of Records Management Frameworks, Retention and Disposal schedules, policies and procedures.
- **Maintain**currency of knowledge and implications of all legislation, regulations, standards and guidelines relevant to the organisation
- **Demonstrated knowledge**: documents especially policies is crucial in fields such as law, healthcare, education, and government.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**Essential**:

- Relevant Tertiary qualifications and experience in document development which includes policy, guidelines and manuals
- Proven experience in Policy and Record management in a health or government setting, preferably within the Australian health system.
- EDRMS (Electronic Document Records Management System) experience
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Meticulous attention to detail and well-developed problem-solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.

**Desirable**:

- Experience in Clinical Governance and various accreditation surveys such as NSMHS, RACGP, ASES, ASQA
- Understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and health programs.
- Experience working in other Not-for-Profit organisations.
