**Salary Classification**: Pharmacist Technician Grade 3, Year 1-2.
**Remuneration**: $42.36 - $43.76 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options.
**The Role**:
Calvary Mater Newcastle is a seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join their team. As a Pharmacy Technician you will be responsible for providing the Pharmacy Department’s technical support across the full range of pharmacy services provided by the Calvary Mater Newcastle Pharmacy including the sterile manufacturing of chemotherapy drugs.
**Your main duties will include**:
Maintenance of imprest stock requirements for all wards and departments.
Assist with maintaining pharmacy stock and pharmacy records with relation to clinical trials.
Assist with the coordination of outreach clinic requirements.
Assist pharmacists with dispensing of inpatient, outpatient, discharge, Emergency Department and Clinical Trials prescriptions.

**About You**:
Completion of a nationally recognised Pharmacy Technician Certificate Course of Certificate Level IV or equivalent.
Demonstrated pharmacy dispensing experience with high level competency.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and productively as an effective team member.
Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
Demonstrated attention to fine details and accuracy at work.
Commitment to personal and professional development.
