About the Role: An amazing career opportunity is available within an extremely progressive, dynamic and successful community pharmacy in Northern NSW. This pharmacy is truly pushing the boundaries of community pharmacy practice. The pharmacy has its own compounding lab, so experience in compounding is a bonus but not essential. The pharmacy also services local nursing homes and has a dedicated team of technicians working with a WebsterCare robot.

We are looking for a Pharmacist-In-Charge who is passionate about pharmacy and eager to grow their existing skills. In this role, you will be supported to take initiative, engage in training and education and get involved in the local community. This pharmacy prides itself on providing outstanding customer service and healthcare solutions to their local community.

Responsibilities

- Provide professional pharmacist leadership as Pharmacist-In-Charge
- Engage in training and education opportunities and contribute to community involvement
- Support the pharmacy’s customer service and healthcare solutions to the local community
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of technicians and manage daily pharmacy operations
- Utilise the compounding lab experience as applicable (not essential) and coordinate with the WebsterCare robot operations

About the Location

This historic small city is home to approximately 10,000 residents with its main industries being agriculture and mining. It offers a wonderful community-oriented lifestyle to its residents and is a great place to raise a family or escape the daily grind of city life. The city has a lot to offer including wonderful schools and churches, art galleries, a music centre, annual city festivals, boutique shopping, great restaurants and cafes, a number of museums and more. The city is easily accessible by NSW TrainLink, private coaches and road.

About the Offer

The pharmacy is open seven days a week, and the candidate must be able to work independently and be willing to accommodate a flexible roster, including some Saturdays and Sundays.

An attractive hourly rate is offered: $55 on weekdays, $60 on Saturdays, and $65 on Sundays, plus super, depending on experience. Accommodation and a relocation allowance are also available and will be discussed during the interview. Additionally, there is potential for future partnership for the right candidate.
