We are looking for a teacher to step into a specialist teaching/tutoring role with students with dyslexia and other learning differences.

The teacher will be trained to deliver evidence based practice using the Multisensory Structured Language (MSL) / Orton Gillingham approach.

The teacher will be required to work on Mondays and Fridays and another day/s of choosing. School hours are okay.

The teacher will be trained to learn a whole new approach to teaching by the education director. The teacher will need to have a thirst for knowledge and want to learn everything they can around the science of reading

Local applicant preferred.
- _Private tutoring using evidence-based practice_
- _Session preparation and goal setting_
- _45 minute face-to-face time with 15 minute buffer for admin_
- _Session follow-up and reporting to parents and director_
- _Liaising with relevant professionals_
- _Utilising training materials and assessments_
- _Assessing students as needed and documenting results (included in training)_
- _Maintaining teaching records and anecdotal notes in regard to student learning_
- _Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures_
- _Other tasks as directed_

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
