Seafolly are looking for a passionate **Assistant Marketing & Communications Manager **to join our Marketing Team

**You will**:
Reporting into the **Head of Marketing** you will help build an iconic global brand through the development and execution of the marketing communications and PR strategy. To drive profitable retail sales in store, online and through wholesale partners.

**Marketing Plan & Communications**
- Support Head of Marketing in developing and executing 360-degree marketing plan and executing the checklist for all seasonal content requirements across Seafolly & Jets
- Develop and manage marketing calendar for Seafolly & Jets
- Ideate and execute new and exciting brand activations that feel on-brand and result in traffic that can be converted to sales
- Work with and lead the Marketing Assistant and Visual Merchandiser Coordinator to build on existing relationships with retail centers to maximize Seafolly & Jets’ exposure and opportunities across all centres
- Lead the Marketing Assistant on distribution of all relevant Seafolly & Jets creative and assets to internal and external stakeholders
- Support the Head of Marketing, Creative Director in planning and driving the communications and content plan
- Develop and execute comms plans to engage shoppers and prospects in market to build customer acquisition.
- Together with the Head of Marketing and Head of Wholesale, liaise and negotiate the seasonal marketing plans with Myer, David Jones and key wholesale accounts.
- Ensure the Seafolly and Jets marketing imagery contains relevant selects for key wholesale partners.

**Go-To-Market Activity, Budget Management & Leadership**
- Lead and execute retail marketing initiatives across Seafolly & Jets with campaigns and activations that drive footfall of relevant target audience to retail and online
- Lead and execute all GTM plans ensuring all key stakeholders are aligned and plans are executed on time.
- Brief the digital and social team members to execute GTM plans in line with overarching marketing objectives
- In partnership with Head of Marketing, forecast and strategize annual global marketing budget, reconcile EOM budgets, and sign off invoices
- Ensure all activities remain under annual budget, and savings are reallocated and strategically spent.
- Lead and nurture direct reports to achieve business objectives and team KPIs.

**Social, Digital, Influencer & PR Strategy**
- In partnership with the Head of Marketing, develop and drive the Influencer and PR strategies to increase brand reach and engagement.
- Coordinate the creation and execution of key PR and influencer digital content (e.g. media activations, sponsorships, influencer partnerships, content creation, events, etc.
- Set and monitor effective benchmarks for measurement of communication performance with KPIs and ROI
- Define best practices for analytics and ensure consistent, ongoing benchmarking and analysis of performance including making data-driven recommendations to improve future success
- Monitor and report on key consumer sentiment - brand and product level
- Deliver exceptional copywriting and storytelling skills to drive customer engagement
- Execute digital campaigns for brand and performance (Search, Display, Prospecting, Retargeting, Paid social and Affiliate Marketing) in conjunction with Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Agencies.

**You have**:

- Proven experience as a high performing marketing & communications assistant manager
- Strong and inspiring people management skills
- Excellent time and prioritisation skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well with a wide range of internal and external clients.
- Media and PR relationships in Australia
- Budgeting and planning skills
- Copy Writing / Press Release / Social Strategy
- An ability to multitask and preform under tight deadlines.
