As Food & Beverage Team Leader, you'll be a helpful host, a local expert, and a proud brand ambassador. Bringing your whole authentic self to work, you'll work with Food & Beverage Management and the team to create outstanding experiences in our lively ground floor restaurant, Market & Meander.

This role will be based in the restaurant, working mostly night (PM) shifts. As we are a tight knit team, there will be room to move across our outlets, including running in-room dining and supporting our Merrymaker Rooftop Bar.

**A little taste of your day-to-day**:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

- Creating a warm welcome for every single guest that sets the tone for their experience with us
- Taking the lead to ensure a high standard of presentation and delivery of service in the restaurant
- Building relationships with our guests and neighbours to drive repeat business
- Working closely with the culinary and operations teams to deliver a truly seamless food and beverage service
- Driving teamwork and a positive working culture
- Handling credit transactions with the utmost care and detail
- Monitoring and managing the booking platforms
- Working responsibly - setting exceptional cleanliness standards, minimising waste, and keeping management in the loop about any unsafe equipment, low supplies, or safety incidents

**What we need from you**:
At Hotel Indigo, we love people that are authentic, confident, and passionate about creating outstanding guest experiences. We are looking for energetic and approachable people, with excellent communication skills, and a can-do attitude

You will also be:

- Experienced - Previous experience working in a hotel environment, restaurant and bar
- Knowledge & Passion - If you're passionate and an expert on the Adelaide region, wines and spirits, this will set you apart from the rest
- Articulate - a great communicator, you'll be warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to
- Attentive - Your strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guest leaves with great memories
- Flexible - nights, weekends and holidays are all part of the job
- Compliant - you'll hold certificates for Responsible Service of Alcohol (SA) & Safe Food Handling
- Unrestricted and hold the rights to work in Australia
