**The Role**:
You are **Consultant, Regulatory Response ECOM **reporting to the **Head of Regulatory Response ECOM.** As a **Consultant, Regulatory Response ECOM **you will be part of a team to build and enhance workforce models across the **Regulatory Response team** in order to provide accurate, timely and best practice guidance across regulatory engagements and first line risk management.

**Your opportunity**
- Assisting on regulatory response and regulatory engagement matters, including ensuring documentation and information shared with regulator/external auditor is managed effectively including 1st and 2nd line approval.
- This role also provides the opportunity to develop best practice process models/maps skills using Signavio and control design documentation.

**The Role and Day to day will include**:

- Assisting on regulatory response and regulatory engagement matters, including ensuring documentation and information shared with regulator/external auditor is managed effectively including 1st and 2nd line approval.
- Assisting and supporting on regulatory response in relation to the AUSTRAC EU for ECOM as a focus as well as other regulatory engagements for ECOM.
- Connecting with Head of Regulatory Response ECOM to prioritise initiatives with a strategic mindset, identifying areas of the plan that needs focus, problem solving to resolve bottlenecks and escalate critical issues.
- Work with ECOM Process Accelerated Controls Execution (PACE) team through capacity support.
- ECOM focus includes compliant Customer Onboarding and ongoing maintenance of customer data, with improved Customer & Colleague experiences.
- Project, program and portfolio management.

**What you will bring**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner (written and verbal).
- Financial crime / AML / and / or sanctions work experience is preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience in compliance, risk management or controls viewed favourably.
- Strong academic background, ideally to a degree level or equivalent.
- Experience in delivering large complex programs containing multiple streams, across multiple divisions would be greatly valued.
- Experience in project and portfolio management, preferably within banking/ financial services/management consulting.
- Stakeholder engagement and management skills and an ability to build strong relationships.
- Support effective and insightful stakeholder reporting for Leadership Team and for critical governance forums.
- Practical approach to identifying and escalating and solving issues.
- Strong knowledge of areas of the plan that needs focus.
