We are a leading and award-winning nursery based at Mangrove Mountain. We are offering a role for one enthusiastic person - 5 days per week.

Scotts Tubes Pty Limited is a New South Wales' leading large wholesale production nursery specialising in flowering plants, herbs/cottage and tube stock supplying Australia's leading retail chain and many other Independents. We have been awarded Wholesale (Large) Production Nursery of the year by the prestigious Nursery and Garden Industry for the past 3 years - 2020,2021,2022.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a position to be filled for a dynamic and enthusiastic Nursery Hand in our Colour Production team. This role will include but not necessarily limited, to the following:

- **Nursery Production Team Member**:_

Responsibilities will include:

- Picking, detailing and dispatching of our products
- Maintenance and cleaning of growing areas
- Mule/Tractor driving (skill not required - training provided)
- Weed prevention and maintenance spraying (ChemCert course provided)
- Production planting of new products on high-tech potting machine.
- Stock & Irrigation management

**This role begins as a casual position with the opportunity to become full-time.**

**This role requires someone who is fastidious with a great eye for detail, mature in manner and ability, have nursery (or similar) experience and is able to work both independently and as part of a team. This is a fast-paced environment with deadline pressures and attention to detail is required as well as the ability to work quickly and accurately.**

- **Start time is 6:30am and Finish time is 3:00 pm with lunch and morning tea times as designated. Opportunity for overtime in our busiest seasons.**

**Desirables**:

- Certificate 3 in horticulture (or equivalent) but not required.
- Knowledge of Plant varieties
- A keen love/interest in plants and all things horticultural.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: $29.00 - $36.74 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
