Are you an experienced and proactive Property & Facilities Manager looking for an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact? Young Academics Early Learning Centre is a dynamic and rapidly growing Early Learning Provider with over 30 centres across New South Wales, we are on a fast-paced growth trajectory over the next 12-24 months, and we are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee the maintenance, lease management, and facilities operations of our expanding network of centres.

**About the role**:
Young Academics Early Learning Centre is committed to providing a safe, well-maintained, and resource-efficient environment for young learners. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a passionate individual to join our team and act as the SME for all maintenance, property, contractor, and landlord/leasehold matters.

**Responsibilities**:
**Facilities Management**:
Manage external management facilities & oversee daily property operations, maintenance, repairs, and renovations. Conduct regular inspections, manage external contractors, enforce health and safety standards, and ensure legal compliance.

**Procurement**:
Source and negotiate with suppliers, manage inventory, and maintain vendor relationships internally and externally.

**Lease Management**:
Ensure lease compliance, handle lease-related issues, and maintain records.

**Budget Management**:
Prepare and monitor the facilities budget, recommend improvements, and ensure spending aligns with the budget.

**Administrative Duties**:
Maintain records of maintenance schedules and lease agreements, prepare reports, and develop related policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- Tertiary qualification in construction, property, and/or facilities management.
- Proven experience in multi-site facilities management.
- Experience with trades/construction highly desired.
- Strong understanding of facilities management and supplier relationship management.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Working Conditions**:

- Full-time position, primarily Monday to Friday.
- Travel to both new and established centres.
- Flexibility in hours for maintenance schedules or emergencies.
- Occasional lifting and carrying of supplies and equipment.
