- Our client, a privately owned and operated agribusiness based on the Darling Downs, is a brand synonymous with quality and integrity. Originally a small farming operation, they have grown to become one of Australia’s largest producers of free-range protein products. As they continue to expand throughout Queensland and the eastern sea board, they have identified the need for a Sales Specialist to lead and direct the sales function in support of their protein production operations._

**Position Focus**:

- Work closely with the team to develop and implement a sales strategy that will optimise sales for the company's products;
- Develop relationships with existing and potential customers to drive demand for the company’s products;
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders in the value chain to ensure effective production and processing schedules;
- Provide leadership and direction to the wider team in all things Sales and Marketing;
- Promote the company’s values through their ‘Paddock to Plate’ initiatives.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Ideally you will have experience in B2B sales, business development and/or key account management;
- Formal qualifications in a business, supply chain or marketing related discipline preferred though not essential;
- Proven sales track record, preferably within the FMCG industry an advantage;
- Well-developed networks in the fresh food retail sector highly desirable;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral;
- Demonstrated customer engagement and negotiation skills.

- High level interpersonal skills including the ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a small team and also with external stakeholders;

- Advanced computer skills, including but not limited to the Microsoft Suite.
