The New Acland Coal Mine (NAC), a thin seam open cut mining operation is owned and managed by New Hope Group. NAC based in Acland, 35km north-west of Toowoomba, has played a key role in the Darling Downs region as an employer and economic contributor since it began operation in October 2002.

**About the role**:
Reporting to the Procurement Supervisor, we are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and customer focused Warehouse Officer to join the New Acland Mine Team, on a Monday to Friday roster. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring continuous coal production and effective coal delivery.

Reporting to the Procurement Supervisor this will assist in all aspects of warehouse operations and Supply as required:

- Ensuring warehouse processes are developed in conjunction with the Procurement Supervisor and are implemented and adhered to.
- Maintain and manage safety standards within the warehouse and yard.
- Liaison with departments on all aspects of their Inventory requirements.
- Ensure the Control of dangerous goods and S.D.S. process and procedures.
- Oversee processing of all non-conformance issues regarding inventory.
- Manage Freight to ensure all scheduled deliveries are on time in full.
- Co-ordination of workflow through the Warehouse to meet sites needs.
- Manage stock levels through the purchasing process.
- Expedite all outstanding Purchase orders.
- Receiving both stock and non-stock items through ERP (Movex) system

**What you’ll need for this role**
- Current C class driver’s license
- Forklift ticket
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
- Self-driven and comfortable working autonomously.
- Experience in mining industry or similar.
- Computer literacy and experience utilising an ERP system. Preferably M3.
- Qualifications in logistics would be viewed favorably.
