**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Personal Care**: Assist participants with daily personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- **Household Tasks**: Perform household chores such as cleaning, cooking, and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
- **Social Support**: Facilitate social activities and outings, encouraging community participation and social interaction.
- **Health Monitoring**: Monitor and report any changes in participants’ health and well-being to relevant to supervisor or healthcare professionals.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, incident reports, and participant progress.
- **Communication**: Collaborate effectively with participants, and other team members to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care plans.
- **Advocacy**: Advocate for participants’ rights and needs, ensuring they receive appropriate services and support.
**Qualifications**:
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of experience in disability support or a related field.
- **Education**: Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, or equivalent.
- **Skills**: Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- **Knowledge**: Familiarity with NDIS regulations and procedures.
- **Attributes**: Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities.
- **Requirements**: Valid driver’s license, current First Aid and CPR certification, and a clear background check.
