**The Company**
Our client is a leading FMCG food manufacturer. With well known and loved brands they have a strong industry presence for both their products and being an employer of choice. They have a long term contract opportunity for a skilled Microbiologist Lab Technician to join their team (you must be available for weekend work).

**The Role**
Reporting into the team leader your responsibilities will include:

- Sample preparation, testing & analysis
- Pathogen analysis
- Calibration activities
- Review product specifications

**Skills & Experience**
To ensure this is the right fit for you, your experience and qualifications will include:

- Tertiary qualified Microbiology or relevant similar degree
- Have minimum 3 year professional experience (food or pharma preferred)
- Strong GLP & OHS knowledge
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Team player

**Benefits**
Shifts will run during the week and on weekends. You will receive an attractive hourly rate & penalty rates are applied for weekend work. This is an ongoing contract which would suit a skilled technician who is looking for extra income or part-time work.
