**Your new company**
Hays are proud to be partnering with a well-known IT Service provider, in the recruitment of a Customer Service Officer. They are a leading Tasmanian business that has been in operation for over 20 years with over 130 employees. The company has grown and developed a strong reputation both within Tasmania and Australia for the quality of their service.

**Your new role**
Based in Sandy Bay, you’ll be working on a permanent fulltime basis within a team of Customer Service Officer servicing Australia wide. In this position you’ll provide a high level of customer service to Customers, Internal Sales and Marketing team members. You’ll be the first point of contact for many customers who require products or services and you’ll be an integral component of the customer service journey. Key duties could include but not limited to:

- Support nominated customers by processing orders and preparing quotes and providing assistance as required in an accurate, efficient and professional manner.
- Support the Sales Team by investigating product information as instructed in an accurate, efficient and professional manner.
- Generate quotes and SO’s as required to do so.
- All quotes to be well presented and include an upsell if possible.
- Respond to detailed questions (including tenders)
- Work with Services Team to scope and cost installation and administration services
- Successfully resolve client issues
- Keep abreast of the functionality and capabilities of the core products and services

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
- Familiarity with ICT Services would be highly valuable
- The ability to successfully operate and monitor online systems.
- Adaptability and initiative.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure, balancing competing demands.
- Established record in producing high quality written correspondence.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with all company related material and information.
- High level Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel.
