As we continue to bring new products to the market, we are looking to bring on board a Category Manager to support in growing profitable category sales, maintaining strong supplier relationships and supporting our customers in marking space for Adventure

You will be responsible for leading trade planning, ranging of new and exciting product categories whilst also managing a variety of Projects.
- Undertaking research to identify market opportunities within product category including competitor analysis, positioning, pricing & market size.
- Play a critical role in setting the product pipeline and strategy
- Produce business case and product brief for Product Development team.
- Set the product budget for each category
- Provide sales support and marketing initiatives for new and existing products. Manage packaging artwork, product launch material and the complete go to market plan for new products.
- Regularly visit dealer network to hear the voice of the customer

**Skills and Experiences**:
To be Successful in the role

Strong communication skills/people skills
A technical aptitude
Experience in managing new product introduction in a measurement controlled and documented manner from concept through to commercialisation
Project Management skills and experience.
Knowledge of the merchandising function and processes.
- Strong analytical skills demonstrated through proactively sourcing customer insights and data to formulate category recommendations.
- Experience working within cross functional teams to manage and execute projects.
- Demonstrated analytical ability to use insights, analytics, and trends to deliver business outcomes.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Being a proven strategic thinker and decision maker

Attention to detail
Be positive, have a resilient attitude, and the willingness to work autonomously and as part of a team
Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines
