We are seeking a part time Senior Project officer to join our team In this role, you will lead the Voice of the Child project, guiding the development and implementation of tools and strategies that ensure children’s voices are central in shaping policies and services. About your new team
Join the Centre for Community Child Health (CCCH) and be part of a transformative project that amplifies children’s voices to shape systems, services, and research. As the Voice of the Child Foundations Lead, you’ll play a crucial role in the Systems Impact team within the Policy and Equity Research Group. The CCCH’s mission is to drive equitable improvements in children’s health, development, and well-being, with a focus on ensuring that All Children Thrive in the Early Years.
**Your responsibilities include**:
Test the principles and a newly-developed Voice of the Child Toolkit with researchers, including how this toolkit might support research within the Centre.
Contribute to and support, as appropriate, the toolkit’s implementation in other projects within communities
Identify opportunities for new partnerships and establish and build those partnerships
Convene and support an advisory committee to help support the work
Manage competing priorities to deliver project objectives in a timely manner.
Contribute to the supervision of Project Assistants/Officers as needed.
**What we need from you**:
Degree/Honours/Masters qualification in a relevant field (e.g., public health, education, child development).
Proven experience in project management, including the ability to develop and implement project plans on time and within budget.
Research and evaluation experience with a solid understanding of the research environment.
Strong stakeholder management experience, including navigating and negotiating with diverse organisations and professional groups.
Experience working directly with young children is highly regarded.
Advanced facilitation skills, with the ability to lead workshops and meetings effectively is advantageous.
