As an Early Childhood Teacher, you’ll inspire a love of learning in children and foster their development through purposeful, intentional teaching practices that are delivered with creativity and energy. You will build meaningful relationships with families, so each child has a strong sense of belonging that supports them to thrive. Your love of teaching will be reflected in how you mentor and guide educational practices in your room, and in your work with the broader centre leadership team to develop, review, and implement high-quality early learning programs, to ensure you’re achieving optimal outcomes for children.

**About Goodstart East Sydney**:
Goodstart Early Learning has partnered with the City of Sydney to operate East Sydney Early Learning Centre. Constructed in 2016, the architecturally designed centre has a striking rooftop play area with views of the city. A nearby playground, The John Birth Memorial, has been upgraded for the centre, and a private bridge over the top of Berwick Lane provides a link to another outdoor learning space.
We have five age-based playrooms across three levels, which are all geared to enhance the children’s learning and development. There’s plenty of space for the children to play and explore, including a large sandpit, large shady trees and gardens, and a variety of outdoor and indoor equipment.

**You’ll need**:

- Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
- Current NSW Teachers Registration (NESA)
- Current NSW Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
