Applications are invited from experienced Science teachers for a permanent position commencing in Term 1, 2026. This role could be either full-time or part-time (0.7 – 0.8) and teachers should indicate their preferences for either of these possibilities in their application.
The successful applicant will have a strong knowledge and understanding of Stage 6 Biology and Junior Science. As a highly accomplished classroom teacher, they will have demonstrated success in Year 7-12 classrooms, be able to encourage, engage and inspire students, have experience in curriculum differentiation and expertise in using a range of different pedagogical strategies within the classroom, including the effective use of technology. They will be able to model the highest standards of professional skill and collaborative teaching practice and encourage students to be critical and creative thinkers and independent and self-reliant learners. The successful applicant will also be committed to the full life of the School and supportive of its Christian ethos.
