The Head of Programming & Performance is a crucial leadership position within the Media & Broadcast team, responsible for ensuring the commercial success of live channels across Australia and New Zealand through effective on-air programming.
Reporting to the General Manager of Content & Broadcast, this role manages the daily operations of our in-app live channels in Australia, oversees program scheduling in New Zealand, and collaborates closely with production teams to develop engaging live event content that enhances audience engagement and drives commercial success.
This diverse role demands a deep understanding of both the editorial and technical aspects of broadcasting, as well as the ability to blend creativity and data-driven strategies to achieve organizational goals.

**Your day-to-day...**
- Lead programming scheduling across all Entain Australia & New Zealand broadcast properties to drive commercial results and audience engagement.
- Oversee delivery of accurate daily program schedules and drive consistent improvements and efficiencies.
- Manage the day-to-day operations, staff and external providers required to run Entain’s Australian live channels.
- Identify commercial opportunities across the on-air programming slate, using existing or new assets to create broadcast products.
- Develop programming and event coverage when required for Australian live channels, engaging third parties as required.
- Ensure the AU channels are legally compliant with both broadcast and wagering regulations.
- Push for innovation in graphical information across Entain Australia & New Zealand networks to present key information in new and entertaining formats.
**What you’ll bring...**
- Proven and extensive experience in a senior operational or production position in live broadcast.
- Working knowledge of broadcast technology and industry best practices.
- Top-level time management, organisational skills and the ability to drive the department agenda unsupervised.
- Knowledge of industry trends and ability to translate them to internal best practices, including use of broadcast technology.
- Previous experience in line management of full-time staff plus contractors.
- A can-do attitude, challenger of the status quo and passion for innovation and growth.
