**About the opportunity**
We have an exciting new fixed-term (12 month) opportunity for a Health and Wellbeing Specialist to join our Health, Safety & Environment team.
This position is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of a cohesive employee health & wellbeing strategy for Gilbarco Veeder Root Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).
The role brings together traditional management of workers compensation with a wholistic wellbeing program. All aspects of Workers Compensation, policy placement and management, claims management, return to work and injury management.
The role develops and implements the Return-to-Work program, which encapsulates the return to work and injury management processes that are to be adopted across ANZ.
The role is also responsible for claims management, reporting and provision of procedures, reports and supporting materials that enable effective injury management and return to work.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Ensuring all operating entities and units have an appropriate workers compensation policy for their operations
- Performance reporting detailing Policy performance and analysis of policy placement strategy
- Policy renewals, reconciliations, forecasting and provision of business unit recharge information
- Claims Management, claims reviews, estimates reduction, and claims cost management
- Develop and implement Return to Work & Injury Management framework
- Ensure people leaders are provided frameworks, supporting tools and resources, support, and training to enable effective return to work and injury management practices
- Ensure programs and practices meet regulatory frameworks

- Experience in development of health & wellbeing strategy
- Understanding of mental health management strategies
- Workers Compensation Claims Management
- Return to Work and Injury Management
- Workers Compensation Policy Management - across all states and territories in Australia encompassing conventional insurance, risk states, and RPL
- Allied health background
