**The Opportunity**

The Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Monash University is seeking a **Research Fellow (Level A)** to join our world-class **Drug Discovery Biology** team at the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIPS).

This research-only role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge drug discovery efforts, with a focus on **pharmacological**, **biochemical**, and **biophysical characterisation** of **G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs)**.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Conducting research aligned with defined project objectives
- Applying, analysing and interpreting pharmacological assays (e.g., ligand binding, proximal transducer assays, second messenger assays) to understand GPCR biology
- Supporting administrative, operational, and financial aspects of the research program
- Collaborating within multidisciplinary research teams

Working under broad direction, the Research Fellow will help drive research outcomes and continue developing their expertise in an internationally recognised academic environment.
