**Casual Receptionist/Administration Assistant - Starting as soon as possible**

Musical Avenue is an established Music School seeking a Casual receptionist with a positive attitude and strong work ethic to join its growing music school in Springvale South

Our opening hours are 3:30-8:30pm weekdays, and 10:30am-6:30pm Saturdays.

**The primary responsibility of this job is to manage the day-to-day running of the school. Tasks include**:

- Opening and closing the school
- Handling accounts, invoicing, and receipts
- Looking after customers at the school
- Student and staff timetabling on our online system
- Online data entry
- Proof reading reports
- Providing support to the instrumental coordinator and teachers
- Other miscellaneous work

**The successful applicant will**:

- Have outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Be accurate and extremely organised.
- Be professional and have great problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate initiative, efficiency, and ability to multi-task.
- Be well-presented, bubbly, and have great rapport with kids as well as adults.
- Be available for most of our opening times/days
- Be required to have undergo a Working With Children Check

A music background will be advantageous.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $30.20 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates
