About us
Funds in Court (FIC) is a self-funded division of the Supreme Court of Victoria, managing funds paid into Court, primarily for people under a legal disability. All funds are held, invested and administered by the Associate Judge of the Court who is the Senior Master. FIC serves over 6,000 beneficiaries.
About the role
The Beneficiary Services Area of FIC provides advice and support services to the Senior Master, the Judicial Registrar and Office staff concerning the administration of funds for beneficiaries.
As a Team Leader, you will influence and drive a positive working culture for team members, play a role in Office decision-making and manage the Asset Services, Audit & Compliance team within Beneficiary Services.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Provide leadership and support on a range of property related matters, including purchase, sale and modification of domestic properties.
- Oversee the in-house compliance monitoring program.
- Manage resourcing and staff performance including training and development.
- Establish and manage relationships with allied health providers, real estate agents, solicitors, valuers, insurers and builders/contractors.
- Effective representation of the Senior Master at government, professional and commercial forums, as required.
- Manage the implementation of process improvements and encourage a service excellence ethos in the work unit.

About you
- Possess strong leadership, people management and team development skills with the ability to motivate staff to achieve team goals.
- Knowledge of the Supreme Court Act 1986, the Guardianship and Administration Act 2019, Rules of Court and other relevant legislation.
- Experience in working with people with a disability, in particular Acquired Brain Injury.
- Proven track record in client relationship management with the ability to build relationships across cross functional teams internally and externally.
- Ability to work independently as well as being a strong team player.
- Excellent organisation, problem-solving and presentation skills.
- Experience in the real estate or building industry would be highly regarded.
