We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Procurement Manager to join our growing team at Parratech.
Our company needs an experienced, cost-conscious Procurement Manager to take over our purchasing operations. We’re looking for a professional who has extensive experience in construction or steel fabrication and who can institute innovative policies to save the company money and improve our product quality. Specifically, we’re looking for someone who can focus on our local spending and improve our relations with existing suppliers while finding new suppliers who can meet our needs more efficiently. **Key Skills**:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
- Proven experience managing supply chain operations.
- Experience using supply chain management software and tools,
- In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Management and leadership skills.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
**Responsibilities**:
- Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
- Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
- Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing feasibility.
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Approving purchase orders and organising and confirming delivery of goods and services.
- Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
- Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs.
- Responsible for procurement reporting to include tracking of purchase requests, including status and delivery
- Manage direct reports in Procurement
- Develop sourcing initiatives and cost reduction strategies to assist the organisation in delivering measurable cost savings
- Develop and educate suppliers on the performance measurements and principles of continuous improvement
- Monitor key suppliers to ensure they deliver against expectations
- Keeping track of inventory levels, ensuring products are available when needed, and managing stock to avoid overstock or stockouts.
- Coordinating the timely distribution of goods to various departments or customers.
Pay: $84,856.76 - $136,832.70 per year

- 8 hour shift
