**Interactive Resources** is seeking some experienced **Disability Support Workers** for our client who provide Person-Centred support to NDIS participants across the **Gympie Area**. This position is for an experienced Support Worker on a casual basis to provide ongoing support to our client’s participants.

- **Competitive rate of $32-$81.00** (Depending on days and times worked and level of experience)

Duties may include anything from providing personal care to assisting the client in accessing the community. Previous experience supporting People with Disability or Mental Health issues is preferable. You must have strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationship with all the stakeholders.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Certificate III or above in Disability or other similar discipline
- Police Check
- Working with Children Check (Known as Blue Card)
- NDIS Clearance Certificate or Yellow Card
- Certificate of NDIS Orientation Module
- Covid-19 Vaccine Certificate (Fully vaccinated)
- 2 x References
- Current QLD Driver’s License
- Comprehensive Car Insurance

**Key Responsibilities**
- Follow individual support plans, behaviour support plans, and health care plans.
- Participate in community activities within a Supported Independent Living environment.
- Maintain and monitor a client’s support plan whilst modelling a person-centred approach.
- Identify and support a range of learning opportunities for our clients.
- Observe and document an individual’s progress and any changes through detailed note-keeping

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $32.00 - $81.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gympie QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check Card (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
