RKS Sales has been successfully trading for over 35 years as an importer, wholesaler and distributor to the industrial, vehicle manufacturing and automotive electrical industries.

**About the role**:
While the role primarily involves the warehouse-based duties listed below, it will also offer you the opportunity to assist in a variety of internal and external sales duties. This will allow you to diversify your skill set while also learning all aspects of RKS Sales.

**About you**:
You are a self-starter with the drive and motivation to refine and develop your skill set; growing with the role as required. You’ll need to be physically fit and able to stand for significant periods of the working day. You’ll be able to work both independently and as part of our small, active team. You will need to be flexible within both roles and willing to fulfill their requirements - sometimes at the same time.

**Duties**:
**As part of the Warehouse team, you’ll be required to**:

- Accurately pick and pack stock from bin locations using pick slips
- Accurately measure, weigh and record details of all outgoing freight
- Accurately receive and store stock using the relevant paperwork, including quality control
- Rolling stock-takes when required
- Loading and unloading of stock by hand or using the forklift
- General warehouse upkeep and cleaning
- Maintain an orderly and neat workspace

**When assisting the Sales team you’ll be required to**:

- Answer phone calls
- Enter orders in our sales software
- Write up quotes for customers
- Assist our on-the-road sales reps with customer service
- Attend to counter enquiries and sales

**Preferred skills**:
(The following additional skills would be advantageous)
- Fit enough to spend most of the day on your feet, both moving and stationary
- Able to lift up to 25kg
- Current LF forklift licence
- Basic customer service skills
- Current Drivers Licence to make the occasional local pickup or delivery in our van
- Automotive or auto electrical knowledge including troubleshooting skills

Pay: $27.50 - $30.00 per hour
