Please keep in mind, we are relocating to a bigger and better warehouse in Dandenong South in early 2025

**Role Purpose / Scope of Role**:
The Warehouse Manager plays a key role in supporting everyday operations of the business and director.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage a team and equipment, conflict resolution, organise labour hire, supervise the receipt, dispatch and storage of goods, and contribute directly to packing and logistics when needed. You will be responsible for coordinating all areas of the warehouse, inventory control, maintaining safety standards, improving processes, and ensuring effective communication within the team.

The manager will oversee the processing of orders and ensure the timely delivery of products to customers as well as be available to receive all stock into the warehouse.

You must be available to take calls and give direction to couriers to customer and from suppliers.

The role requires organisation and the ability to work autonomously and use sound decisions and leading a team.

**Objectives & Key Accountabilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the warehouse team.
- Organise and manage casual staff and labour hire as needed.
- Ensure adherence to warehouse safety protocols and OH&S regulations, creating a safe work environment for all staff.
- Develop, update, and maintain warehouse processes and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Oversee and manage warehouse relocations and logístical movements.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a positive work culture.
- Be flexible to assist with picking, packing, and operating forklifts during busy periods.
- Maintain an understanding of inventory software systems and oversee their effective use in operations.
- Oversee administrative tasks such as conducting physical inventory counts and maintaining accurate records of stock levels.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring that they are handled safely and efficiently.
- Maintain warehouse is secure.
- Communicate with suppliers, and transportation providers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Oversee deliveries and shipments with customers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods.
- Develop and maintain relationships with couriers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse and logistics functions.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

**Experience**:

- Warehouse management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
