This department, based in a growing area of Canberra, works on the policy and legislation towards on the development and protection of Australians in need of support. Due to an increase of work in this area, this departmental team is looking to expand their team. This expansion means that there is an opportunity for Relationship Managers to join their team as an APS6 or EL1 through a Section 26 transfer or non-ongoing contract.

Are you seeking an opportunity to impact many people's lives?

This dynamic team, is responsible for onboarding institutions to help the growth and maintenance of a high government priority. You will be focussed on working with participating and non-participating institution to encourage and assist them to join and continue the program. With not only the opportunity to make an impact with peoples lives, your day to day work will include:

- managing relationships with funded organisations on a one-one and group basis to share relevant information and address implementation issues
- preparing a range of documents including minutes, briefings and correspondence
- establishing clear timeframes for project implementation

As you will be engaging and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally, well-developed communication skills with the ability to foster professional relationships whilst building rapport and trust is a must

With growth opportunities quite prevalent in this team, you will have the opportunity to turn this into a longer term position. Your previous experience within program and project spaces, will be quite useful and will help you succeed in this position. Coupled with this you will also have:

- experience in contributing to strategic direction, operational policy and program management
- Strong interpersonal skills including ability to liaise with stakeholders in a sensitive manner

To be considered for this role you must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance at the Baseline level or higher.
